MCCARTY EARNS MASTERS DEGREE IN GLOBAL MANAGEMENT

Virginia Jessemey McCarty, CEO and founder of McCarty & Associates "a marketing firm," Shelton, recently earned a Masters degree in Business Administration, with a Global Management emphasis, from the University of Phoenix in Arizona.

"With best business practices merging into a global perspective, it was time to have a formal education on how a business must interact, plan, and scan the horizon in a global way," said McCarty. "Doing business globally is something every business needs to consider, whether they are local or global. The internet has opened portals to local commerce which can challenge a local business." Mrs. McCarty is very involved in local civic and church organizations and at the state level she serves on the professional advisory board to Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow College of Communication.
