McCARTY REAPPOINTED TO UNIVERSITY BOARD
January 2008
Business owner, Virginia Jessemey McCarty, was reappointed to the Professional Advisory Board of Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, the largest college of communication on the west coast.
"This is a significant honor in recognition of your achievements in your chosen communication field," said then Director, Alex Tan, of the Murrow College of Communication at WSU, when McCarty was originally appointed in 1996.
She joins 30 other top notch professional communicators from across the country. Being a WSU graduate is not a prerequisite for the appointment, however, McCarty (Jessemey) did graduate from WSU in 1974.
Since 1986 she has been the founder/CEO of McCarty & Associates, "a marketing firm" and represents clients around the Puget Sound area.
She has won many state and national awards for her marketing campaigns and is very active in her church, and in local civic and commerce groups.
